Last Class
For the past few years, I've been steadily chipping away at a Master's degree in Modeling and Simulation with a focus on Human Systems.  Anyone who knows me understands that - academically, at least - the past few years have not been a walk in the park.  Don't get me wrong, I love the subject matter, and I love the Institute for Simulation and Training, but it's my status as a student that I wrestle with.  I've been anxious to begin the next chapter of my life.

I'm happy to announce that today was my final class.

I want to acknowledge the hard work of my wonderful teammates - Cyrus Hillsman, Cathy Yen, and Jeremy Lanman - who labored with me over the course of sixteen weeks to design, test, and analyze a novel keypad security system that's been lurking in my brain for some time now.  Completing the project and documenting it were two requirements for the class, but they meant more to me than a grade.

As well, the constant support of my family and friends continues to inspire me to work harder and do better whenever I can.

Thank you.

This weekend: GDX!
